Naming Your Character

Please choose a character name that fits the D&D fantasy world setting. It is much more pleasing for everyone if an elf has a name that sounds elven, a dwarf is known by one that sounds dwarven, and so on.

NWN includes a random name generator that you can use at character creation if you are unsure. It selects appropriate names based on race and gender.

Please do not give your characters “cute” names, names that are silly plays on words, or monikers that reflect modern celebrities or comic book characters. Such names are terribly immersion-breaking and just plain distracting.
